Resort Tech

Inquire about job openings at our doggy boarding/daycare park facility. We typically start new staff part-time and then move up to full-time depending on the staff members needs. Applicant must love animals, be hardworking, dependable, and joyful. We have a great company culture. Qualified persons must be a morning person. Qualified persons MUST have availability on weekends and holidays. We are looking for animal lovers with good energy.

Experience in the pet care industry is valued. Experience with the online boarding software system PetExec is a plus!

This is an entry-level position, with opportunity for advancement.

Certified Trainer

Dogwood Ranch believes it’s never too late to teach an old dog (and its owner) new behaviors.  We believe in working as much with the owner as with the pet. Our goal is to provide a long-lasting impact through expert training. Dogwood Ranch has many years of experience in supporting pet owners to make the needed changes in their pet’s habits. Long, busy days on your feet are a trademark of a job in the pet care industry. You will be lifting heavy objects including, but not limited to, heavy dogs and you will be working outdoors in beautiful Monterey County.

Duties will also include:

  • Providing care for animals housed/visiting

  • Performing work according to established methods specified

  • Observing animal appearance and activity

  • Cleaning and disinfecting areas of the facility as often as is necessary. 

  • Feeding meals

  • Taking charge and/or handling animals as required

  • Grooming

  • Completing daily lists
